Join Eric Knoff, owner of Six Points Avalanche Education and former GNFAC avalanche forecaster, for a free motorized avalanche awareness talk. This talk will take place at Basecamp Gallatine in Four Corners (21 Forkhorn Trail, Bozeman, MT 59718) from 6:30 to 8 pm on Dec. 13th. Topics covered include recent avalanche statistics, terrain analysis, group communication skills, snowpack stability, and basic avalanche rescue techniques. This is a great opportunity to enjoy an avalanche awareness talk in a small group setting and start your winter by learning more about avalanche safety and mountain awareness.

This class will also include demonstrations of an avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, and airbag.
